Yandex is testing a new learning format using Alice AI, now when entering a math problem the neural network helps the user understand it by asking leading questions and explaining the solution, by clicking the "Try Learning Mode" button the user is taken to a chat with the AI where the system explains the logic behind solving the problem and offers similar examples to reinforce the material, the dialogue includes a text input field and a calculator for formulas making the learning process interactive and visual, this feature is currently in development and will soon be available in the main Alice AI chat powered by a new version of Yandexs large language model, we view AI as a tutor useful for both students and parents but it is important to understand that artificial intelligence does not replace teachers, it will help analyze assignments, practice skills and prepare for exams, said Daria Kozlova, Director of Education at Yandex.
